Well, yesterday was a whirlwind of planning, changing plans, planning more, changing plans, and getting frustrated. I only have 2 minutes here, so, I can’t go into all the details.

But the result is that it’s faster for us to get to the K town where we want to start our hike by taking a 55-hour boat ride from here instead of flying. Otherwise we would have to wait around here for another week. So, today we leave for a long boat ride. LONG boat ride. Fortunately (I think) it’s a big boat (couple thousand passengers). But don’t think cruise here – I don’t think it will be close to that. =) So far between the 6 of us we have 4 rooms (meaning only 2 of us are in a room with the other person). We’re hoping to bargain with other passengers for shared rooms, but we’ll see if that happens.

Pray we don’t get sea sick, and make it to the B town in time to catch the last little flight to the K town (after this long boat ride). The current plan (as much as it can be in this country) is to arrive in K town (after the long boat ride, and a final short flight) Monday.

I hope none of us gets seasick easily…
